Benefits of honey
Honey, also called “hive gold”, is obtained from the nectar of flowers. Honey consumption is known for providing energy thanks to its high sugar content. It is recommended during the winter season to fight against temporary physical and intellectual fatigue.
Honey can be used to replace sugar because it is of a much better nutritional quality. In fact, unlike white sugar, a non-value-added industrial sugar, honey is composed of a mixture of carbohydrates (it contains 38% fructose, 31% glucose , 2% sucrose) and 17% water. but also many vitamins, enzymes and trace elements. Another difference, and not least, compared to white sugar: it has a much higher sweetening power while being less caloric. A spoon of honey can replace two sugars and you bring to your body a natural product of quality, healthier and much less caloric. In addition, fructose is longer to digest than glucose, the effect “coup de barre” is delayed.
Honey has several health benefits. It is a real concentrate of energy, ideal in case of fatigue, low tone and even low morale. It relieves sore throat and brings sweetness and greed.
Differences between honey and white sugar:
