The Aloe vera find its origins in Africa and some islands in the Indian Ocean. The gel of this plant was already used to cure skin problems and constipation in ancient Greece and ancient Egypt. For some historians, the Spanish would have imported the first plants of aloe in America, around the sixteenth century. In 1820, Aloe vera was mentioned in the official pharmacopoeia of the United States, and in 1935 a group of American doctors used it in the treatment of burns following X-ray exposure. the interest for this plant with one hundred virtues has steadily increased throughout the world.
